The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall with some minor wear to the decoration and a few small scratches, one tureen with a small bruise with a crease to the body, the other tureen with a small pin dent to underside, both with old scratch test marks, the applied monograms later, the covers lacking maker's marks, the maker's marks on the tureens illegible, the stands with London import marks slightly pushed through, the silver-plated bowl with a small bruise to the rim.
