The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The sheet is hinged at the corners to the backing board, and has shifted slightly in tone. Minor discoloration, faint handling marks, and minute accretions are occasionally to the margins of the sheet. Tiny spots of foxing are intermittently scattered. There is no apparent inpainting visible under ultraviolet light. Subject to the foregoing, it is our opinion that the work is in overall good condition.
