Vivid Art Nouveau painted vellucent binding by Chivers.

Octavo (200 × 135mm). Half-title (light spotting, occasional small stains). Contemporary vellum binding signed by Cedric Chivers of Bath, continuous vellucent watercolor across covers and spine, upper cover with nude red-haired woman holding a vase standing before grapevines, lower cover with a dove in a tree above an open book, woodwind instrument and jug, continuous wave motif, painted title on spine, covers and spine tooled in gold, marbled endleaves (boards bowed, turn-ins peeling in places with some tears in endleaves).
