The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The suite is structurally sound and ready to place. With scattered age and construction cracks; one leg at the stamped chair with a crack, but not unstable. The canapé previously with two additional front legs and one additional rear leg, now removed. The painted decoration overall with general marks, nicks, surface scratches, scattered chips, losses to carving and surfaces revealing bare wood in areas as to be expected with age. The undersides with upholstery webbing spanning between the undersides of the rails, making it difficult to examine their interior sides or discover a stamp on the canapé or the second fauteuil. The upholstery with minor marks, faint discoloration and overall signs of wear, most prominently at the seat of the canapé, as to be expected from use. Good overall condition.
