The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Scattered wear to the gilding, most notable to the central gilt medallions of the plates and serving pieces. Further condition notes and dimensions below.
The tureen and cover (151⁄2 in. long, over handles): Nice condition, with some small flakes and touchups to the gilding.
The footed compote (105⁄8 in. diameter): The bowl broken in several pieces, restored, and re-pinned to the foot.
The sauce-boats (93⁄4 in. long): Nice condition.
The large octagonal serving dishes (95⁄8 in. wide): One with a Y-shaped crack extending the width of the plate and length of one small and one large octagonal side. The other in nice condition.
The small octagonal serving dish (81⁄2 in. wide): Nice condition.
The large oval platters (173⁄4 in. long): Nice condition.
The small oval platters (105⁄8 in. long): One with a very faint Y-shaped hairline extending the length of the well.
The extra large round platter (153⁄8 in. diameter): Nice condition.
The large round platter (133⁄4 in. diameter): Nice condition.
The medium round platters (121⁄2 in. diameter): Nice condition.
The egg cups (31⁄8 in. high): Nice condition.
The serving bowl (93⁄8 in. diameter): Nice condition.
The soup plates (93⁄8 in. diameter): One with a chip to foot rim.
The dinner plates: With some wear to the decoration, most notable to the central gilt medallions; scattered small touchups to gilding at rims. Fourteen with badly chipped footrims. Eleven with restored footrims, of which one with the spray on the footrim starting to yellow; three with the entire bottom of the plate yellowed, one of these three also in half and restored and with a further restored rim line; one of the plates with restoration to the footrim has a further restoration to the rim, touched up to the surface.
The cream-jugs (6 in. long): Nice condition.
The sugar-bowls (7 in. long): Nice condition.
The waste bowl (63⁄4 in. diameter): Nice condition.
The teacups (21⁄2 in. high): A few with minute nicks to rims. A few with more extensive rubbing to the gilding.
The coffee-cups and saucers (21⁄2 in. high, the cups; 51⁄2 in. diameter, the saucers): Nice condition. Some of the cups with more extensive rubbing to the gilding.
The small saucer dishes (77⁄8 in. diameter): Nice condition.
