The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In structurally sound condition and ready to place. With the expected scattered light nicks, faint marks and scratches. Overall with faint sunfading. With scattered light shrinkage cracks, consistent with age. The mounts considerably rubbed and with oxidation and tarnish, as to be expected. Each gallery rail with a few scattered breaks to the pierced hearts. The top gallery rail with a break near the front left stile. The lower gallery rail out of shape and separating slightly on the left hand side. The marble on the lower tier with repaired breaks near each of the front legs. The backboards apparently replaced. The central drawer possibly reconstructed. With natural inclusions and light surface abrasions. With one key.
