The movement in the form of a rotating celestial globe painted with stars, the central twin horizontal rotating annular brass chapter rings for hours and minutes, the minute ring engraved with Arabic five-minute markers, the hour ring engraved with Roman chapters and signed 'WEEK'S Museum', the hour ring further engraved to the interior crossings 'Sold by Week's RL Mechanical Museum Coventry Street Tichbourne St. London', the naturalistically modelled rhinoceros with twin barrels, anchor escapement and pendulum and a single bell, the dust plate engraved 'This Snaps in & out To take the Movement out', on a mottled purple marble base
