The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in sound condition, decorative and ready to place. With minor scattered surface wear including faint marks, light surface scratches, small nicks and a slight build up of surface dirt. With scattered minor repairs, as to be expected with age and the nature of the material. Both wings with repairs. With a repaired crack to the head and the index finger of the proper right hand. With repaired joints just below the shoulders of both arms; same repaired joint to the mid proper right thigh; repairs to the outstretched toes of the proper right foot, some possibly replaced; small surface cracks overall. Repairs to the ribbon at the rear and right-side of the base; and with repairs along the underside of the base. The base of the quiver with another possible repair. The pedestal with scattered nicks, marks and surface scratches. With some rubbing to the gilded and painted decoration, particularly along the top where the figure seats. With some refreshments to the gilding. With some scattered cracking, flaking and small chipped losses to the gilding revealing gesso and bare wood. With some minor restorations to the raised decoration in areas. associated infilled repair. Presents well overall.
