The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall with some scattered minor age and construction cracks as expected. The mahogany surface with some scattered minor nicks and abrasions (not extensive). As noted in the cataloguing, the circular stretcher probably a later addition. One foot with a visible seam, possibly a later replacement and with a small loss to the back. The ormolu appears to retain its original gilding and now with some minor rubbing and tarnish. The marble top with a few minor, shallow scratches as expected and with a round area of slight discoloration in the center. Overall very good condition, ready to place.
