The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In good general condition, the porcelain with some intrinsic kiln flaws, in the making, including a firing line at the underside (under the glaze). The ormolu re-gilt, its surface with the typical light scratches, wear scuff and minute nicks, as to be expected with age and handling, two small circular areas of apparent other other metal flanking its knop and visible at the underside as well.
