The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Presenting well overall, the case with the typical light scratches, scuffs, nicks and wear consistent with age and handling, its surface re-gilt, the hinged glazing over the dial not remaining shut when closed, probably a replacement. The glass with light scratches, commensurate with age. The dial also with light scratches, some shallow chips around the 12 o'clock and 7:30 positions. The ormolu trellis-work lightly bent and with small portions lacking to each side of the clock face, as to be expected. The movement not uncased for inspection, but some oxidation to the metal visible through the side of the case. Overall good presentation, ready to hang.
