The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in good, decorative condition. With typical scattered light nicks, faint marks and scratches. The gilding with rubbing, lifting, flaking and some small losses revealing gesso and bare wood. The gilding refreshed, and with some further areas of touch-up, primarily to the frieze, not extensive or readily noticeable. Possibly previously painted, with some small traces of earlier blue or grey scheme. With minor scattered restorations, well concealed in the gilding, including repaired breaks to each of the stretchers, as to be expected, and now with additional supports to the underside. With some scattered age and construction cracks, including some cracks to the frieze, and with some associated minor stabilization glue repairs. The second fluted column on the right hand side lacking the circular surround. With some further nicks and dings to the raised decoration, primarily at the extreme edges. The marble in good condition, with scattered light surface scratches and minor wear; with some further minor nicks and 'nibbles' to edges, including a small chipped loss towards the center-left edge; and with a repair to the back corner. The marble very heavy, and as a result the table slightly wobbly on its legs. Would recommend anchoring the table for use.
