The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Present very well overall; some typical light crazing; overall likely with some areas of gilding refreshed, and with some minor wear to gilding; one cover previously in half and now restuck, with a number of additional hairline cracks; the other with most of the inner flange previously off and now restuck; one vase with numerous branching hairline cracks throughout the body, difficult to see from the exterior; the other vase with a few short hairlines to the underside of the foot; with some small chips to the acanthus handles on both.
