In overall good condition; the vases present very well. Both vases with minor surface wear overall and to the gilding, particularly at the rims, with some faint blue speckling to the interiors. Both with restoration to the foot rims. With some faint incisions to the rims, possibly roman numerals. One vase with some shallow scrapes to the glaze inside the neck and with a firing line to the interior encircling the pin, also with a small chip and a few long scratches above one handle. The other vase with a firing flaw to the top.
