The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Overall with scattered typical chips, losses and restorations to the applied foliage and flowers. Both with firing cracks with infill to the base in the making, some extending into further faint hairline cracks into the body. Both with overpaint where the vase meets the rock-form base, likely disguising cracks or further firing cracks. One vase with a 1 inch section of the garland missing, further with a slightly branching hairline crack running from the interior base up approx. 4 in. on one side and 1 in. on the other, and a circular firing crack in the making to another gadroon. The other lacking a pendant garland, with an associated circular chip to one gadroon where it would have attached to the lower body. Both covers with restored rim chips. With a slight variation in size between the two.
