The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in decorative condition, sound and ready to hang. The gilt-metal with rubbing, oxidation, tarnish, and some scattered surface wear including some nicks and dings to extreme edges, consistent with use. With some visible seams, not readily noticeable when hung. The glass beads and droplets with light surface wear, with some scattered losses and replacements, not readily visible. Some of the beaded swags now detached and hanging. The glass drip pans with light surface scratching, some small nicks and minute chips to the edges. The applied flowers and starburst with some nicks and 'nibbles' to the edges, and some now lacking. Some of the older pieces of glass with some light clouding. Some of the glass obelisks with small losses to the tips. With some small solder repairs to the 'S' scrolls at the top of the wall light, not visible when placed. With some very minor variation in the decoration as a result of replacements, but present very well as a group. Only one example with hanging hardware to the reverse.
