The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The tole lamp with minor scattered surface scuffs, faint scratches, minor nicks and dings, as to be expected. With a few inevitable minute losses to the painted decoration. With some minor refreshment to decoration.

The porcelain lamp with some light surface wear including faint scuffs and scratches. With a few small cracks from the making including two starting from the base. With another crack starting from the base up through the length of the vase and crossing over the figures, with some minor associated infilled repair at the base, not readily visible and stable. With some further minor restoration. Not examined out of mounts. The ormolu with light rubbing, some minor oxidation and tarnish. With a slight build up of surface dirt in the crevices.
