Overall in good, decorative condition, structurally sound and ready to place. With typical scattered nicks, marks, scuffs and scratches. With minor separation at joins, including to some of the corners of the frames around the central scenes. Scattered cracks and losses to the carved decoration, including a small loss to the upper decorative frieze to the panel second from left, not readily visible. Overall with scattered shrinkage cracks, minor breaks and repairs, including a crack to the panel second from left near to the bottom right hand side. Several of the decorative carved corner brackets to the landscape scenes with losses or restorations. Some of the molding lifting and requiring regluing; some sections of the molding off or replaced. The reverse painted glass with scattered surface wear, with some clouding, foxing, sections of refreshment and repainting to the decoration, and some scattered cracks, nicks and small losses. The landscape scenes in varying states of condition. Several with restoration, repainting and replacements; scattered losses including to the silvered ground revealing preparatory work; undulation to the background; and many of the glass panels replaced or no longer fully covering the panels. Refreshments to the decoration throughout. Decorative and presents well overall.
