In good stable decorative condition. The giltwood frame with rubbing, lifting, flaking, cracking and losses revealing bole and bare wood. With some scattered nicks and dings to edges of frame as a result of age and use. The panels with scattered restorations, including repaired tears and stablizations. Some areas with overpainting. Some panels with undulation to canvas. Panel A (leftmost) with multiple open tears to bottom half of panel, may require further stablization. The upper ground with areas of refreshment to the decoration. Panel B with a repaired tear to the lower 3rd to the left side. With some exposed canvas at upper edge. Panel C with a repaired tear to the lower 3rd on the left side, now slightly discolored. The lower right side with two open tears. Repaired crease along bottom edge. Panel D with repaired tear to the upper left quadrant, now somewhat discolored. With a large repaired tear approximately 14 in. to the center. Further restoration to lower left of monkey figure. small scattered repaired tears to lower quadrant of panel. Upholstery to the reverse in well maintained condition, with minor surface wear. Some slight glue residue to edges under trim. Presents well over all.
