The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in good, decorative condition and ready to hang. With typical scattered nicks, marks and scratches. With some lifting, rubbing and minor flaking to the gilding and gesso, revealing bole and bare wood in areas. With refreshments and touch ups to the gilding in areas. With some visible shrinkage cracks and some minor separation at joins in areas, as expected. Several small repaired breaks, and some minor losses to carved decoration, including a leaf tip on the lower left-hand side and one of the bells. Some of the carved decoration re-attached, including the leaf on the upper right-hand side. The reverse glass with some light surface scratching, minor losses to the silvering and painted decoration and with some scattered foxing. Presents very well overall.
