Each with scattered surface wear, minor nicks and 'nibbles', and small losses to the enamel, the largest loss to the head of one of the ducks. One of the creature vessels with a surface abrasion to the front of the chest on the proper right side, resulting in an indentation and some loss to the enamel. With some areas of refreshment to the decoration and some small areas of restoration to enamel. The gilt metal with rubbing, tarnish and oxidation. Several scattered areas of verdigris, including to the beak and lotus leaf of one duck. Some of the metal inlay bent out of round, including to the feet of one of the taller creature vessels; and some areas of inlaid metal lacking, not extensive. The lid on the teapot slightly out of round and does not sit flush in the well, but secure. The duck form vessel retaining its lid wobbly on its feet and not entirely sturdy. One of the beast-form vessels lacking chain that connects to the lid; the other retaining the chain but off. With some scattered pitting, surface dirt and staining throughout. Present well as a group.
