The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Overall in sound condition. With scattered nicks, marks, surface scuffs, scratches. With several restorations to the frame, as to be expected, including to the cresting and the corners. The reverse with some additional fabric repairs, not visible when hung. With some visible seams at joins. Minor evidence of old now inactive woodworm. The gilding refreshed, and with rubbing, some lifting, flaking and some losses revealing barewood. With a significant layer of surface dirt and blackening to the surface in areas, would benefit from a gentle cleaning. The mirror plate later and with light wear , minor foxing and a few small patches of loss to the silvering. Decorative and ready to hang.
