Overall in good condition. Decorative, structurally sound and ready to place. With typical scattered small nicks, light surface scratches faint scuffs and marks, as to be expected with age. The bergere with traces of earlier decorative scheme. The painted decoration with lifting flaking, cracking and some losses revealing bare wood. With traces of earlier decorative scheme. With some further minor nicks and small chipped losses to the carved decoration at the extreme edges, primarily at the corners and at the feet, as to be expected with age and use. With some slight separation at joins, including where the uprights meet the chair back, and to the mask on the swag resulting in a minor restoration not readily visible.
