The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The porcelain throughout with some kiln imperfections, in the making, consistent with outside-decorated wares, and the expected minor scratches, scuffs and wear consistent with age and use. The reticulated plates all with some firing lines in from the edges, three of the plates with repairs, now discolored, to their edges (these firing lines likely the reason plates were designated as seconds). The plates with Mosaik ground all with some discoloration to their undersides, one with more pronounced intrinsic firing flaws at its underside.
