The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.


The footrest:
Overall with minor scattered nicks, faint surface marks, scuffs and scratches, consistent with age and use. The green painted decoration later, with some rubbing and losses revealing bare wood. The upholstery well maintained with minor surface wear including a few very minor frayed pieces. Presents very well overall, with vibrant colors.

The kneeler:
Overall with scattered nicks, marks and scratches. With lifting and flaking to the painted decoration, revealing barewood. With some minor loss of definition to the carved decoration at the high spots, particularly on the feet, not extensive. The underside with scattered small repairs including minor repaired stress cracks and some separation at joins. With a small loss approximately one inch to one rail, not visible when placed. The upholstery well maintained. with very light suraface wear and staining, particularly at corners. With some minor fraying to the sides and to the passiementarie border in some areas.
