SIX-DAY WAR press photographs

Very large-format images of one of the most important conflicts in the 20th century.

45 press photographs, dated 1967, various sizes (most approx. 282 x 353, a few slightly smaller), one or two with typescript descriptions on versos, the vast majority clean without any markings. (Only a few images lightly creased at margins, overall in fine condition.)

FINE COPIES OF VERY LARGE IMAGES OF THE SIX-DAY WAR. This fascinating collection contains photographs of Israelis driving in half-tracks with Jordanian markings, the devastating effects of airpower on road convoys, and numerous scenes of the Western Wall as worshippers gather there after the capture of the Old City of Jerusalem. The majority of the photographs show Israeli troops, Egyptian PoWs and destroyed Egyptian materiel, but there are also images of Palestinian refugees on the move, as well as refugee camps.
