THATCHER, Margaret Hilda (1923-2013) -- The menu for a Luncheon at Guildhall in honour of the South Atlantic Task Force. Tuesday 12th October 1982, signed ' Margaret Thatcher' on the front cover, 10pp, 8vo 227 x 135mm.

GALTIERI, Leopoldo (1926-2003). Typed letter signed 'L Galtieri' to a German citizen, Buenos Aires, 17 November 1982, written in Spanish, expressing his thanks for his letter: he is happy to have his actions as a soldier and governor recognised by a veteran of WWII, and states that the events of 2 April were a historical necessity, allowing for future success for Argentina, and that their true importance will only be properly seen with time, 1 page, 285 x 215 mm.; accompanying this letter is a colour photograph signed 'L Galtieri' with additional manuscript note in another hand 'Argentina 11-2-82', 254 x 201 mm..

[With]: typed letter signed by Jorge Washington Ferreira, governor of the Entre Rios province, to Mario Menéndez, Argentine governor of the Falkland Islands, 10 April 1982, letting him know that a day of celebration has been declared in his province in recognition of the 2 April recovery of the Falklands.

[And]: typed order signed by Mario Menéndez, 16 May 1982, in English, ordering that animals slaughtered by the FIC Butchery will be consumed by Argentine military personnel, and that the owners will be compensated and that the cattle will be replaced by beasts from Tierra del Fuego.
