The British Mandatory authority interrupted publication several times, twice for three months and once for six months. A global geopolitical dimension is given by way of Muslim views from India, and surveys of British oil exploration in Muslim countries.

Khalidi & Khadduri 871: 'Useful as a chronicle of events during the two years in which the weekly appeared. The editor was a member of the first Arab Higher Committee and was exiled by the British with other members of the Committee to the Seychelles Islands in he Indian ocean in 1938.'
