Photograph album, Palestine, c. 1938, containing 64 photographs (mostly c. 60 x 85 mm.) showing Lydda, Nablus, Qaqoon, and elsewhere, with printed and manuscript numbers and annotations, 8 leaves, oblong large 4to (230 x 290 mm.), (small tear to corner of one photograph, vertical crease to final leaf, some worming, heaviest and only affecting photographs on final leaf). Modern brown cloth.

An album of photographs taken during the Arab Rebellion, 1936-1939, depicting instances of damage and disruption to infrastructure and the British Army caused by the Arab rebels. Including 30 photographs showing the consequences of the destruction of railway lines and the derailment of trains, with others showing the exploded remains of vehicles belonging to the Irish Guards, the Royal Scots, and the 11th Hussars regiments.
