Britain's first High Commissioner of Palestine's Report on his term in office.

One of Herbert Samuel's obligations as Britain's first High Commissioner of Palestine was to file reports to the Colonial Office on the operations of the new civil administration. With his term in office about to come to an end, this report deals with the eventful years between 1920-1925 which included the publication of the White Paper of 1922 supporting Jewish immigration into Palestine. Other subjects include: Public Security, Justice, Finance, Attitude of the Arabs, the Holy Places. Khalidi & Khadduri 1642.
