The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- There are a few burst glaze bubbles, small firing flaws and iron spots predominantly visible on the interior and base.
- There are a couple of grazed chips to the interior mouth rim of the box, the alrgest measuring approx. 0.4 x 0.3 cm.
- There are very few nicks to the rims of the box and cover.
- There is a label to the bease that reads 'Bastings Antiquairs Collectie KXD 98'.
