The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- All pieces have rubbing to the gilt and wear to the enamels.
- There is a chip to the teapot's cover next to the finial measuring max. approx. 0.3 x 0.2 cm.
- There are some small chips to the tip of the teapot's spout.
- There is a firing crack to the base of the teabowl.
- Two saucers each have a hairline crack, one measuring max. approx. 2.5 cm. and the other max. approx. 3 cm.
- All pieces have some surface wear and scratches as may be expected.
