The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.

The quatrefoil cup:
- There is a small rim chip of max. approx. 0.4 x 0.3 cm.
- There is a hairline rim crack measuring max. approx. 2.2 cm.

One saucer:
- With the label 'Van der Ven Oriental Art Van der Ven' adhering to the base.

One saucer:
- There is a hairline rim crack measuring max. approx. 1.5 cm. and a related small rim chip.
- There are a few nicks to the rim and to the footring.

One cup:
- There is a hairline rim crack measuring max. approx. 2 cm.

All pieces:
- All cups and saucer have some small frits and nicks to the rims and footrings as well as some minor surface wear as may be expected.
