Details
The censer is supported on three cabriole legs and moulded with the Eight Trigrams, bagua. It is covered to the exterior with an even, olive-green celadon glaze that continues over the rim and in the interior, with a raised circle to the base left unglazed.

This vessel may be compared to a slightly larger Longquan censer (13.6 cm. diam.) decorated with the Eight Trigrams sold at Christie's New York, 17-18 September 2015, lot 2347.
