KANGXI PERIOD (1662 -1722)

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

We have sought to record changes in the condition of this piece acquired after its initial manufacture.
- Both salts have a couple of glaze frits, the largest max. approx. 0.8 x 0.4 cm., to the upper rims as well as to the feet.
- There are very few fine fring cracks to the openwork trellis pattern.
- There is the expected surface wear and a few scattered minor glaze flaws and iron spots.
- Both have a label adhering to the base reading 'Vanderven Vanderven Oriental art 39.'
