Details
Each bowl is moulded with recessed flutes on the exterior and corresponding raised flutes in the interior. The bowls are brightly and boldly decorated to the exterior with rose, prunus and chrysanthemum rising from the foot rim, and divided by two stylised, triangular fences. The interiors are decorated with floral sprays around an iron-red and gilt scrolling chrysanthemum roundel at the centre.
