Porcelain dishes of this form were made at both the Xing and the Ding kilns.The present lot may be compared with the Northern Song dynasty porcelain dishes of Xing-type (16 cm. diam.) and Ding-type (14 cm. diam.) in the Eumorfopoulos Collection at The Victoria and Albert Museum, London, illustrated by Rose Kerr in Song Dynasty Ceramics, London, 2004, p 42, No. 33.
