The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Non examinée hors du cadre, la feuille est fixée au revers à un support cartonné. Les bords latéraux présentent une légère irrégularité. La feuille présente une très légère ondulation. De minuscules accrétions de surface sont visibles dans l’angle supérieur gauche et dans l’angle inférieur droit. Les très légères traces de manipulation visibles le longs des bords sont inhérentes à la méthode de travail de l’artiste. Sous réserve de ce qui précède, selon notre opinion, l’œuvre est en bon état général de conservation.

Not examined out of the frame, the sheet is hinged on the reverse to a cardboard support. The lateral edges are slightly irregular. The sheet slightly undulates. Minor accretions to the surface are visible to the upper left and lower right angle. Slight handling marks are visible along the edges, inherent to the artist's working method. Subject to the foregoing, it is our view that the work appears to be in overall good condition.
