The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

This screen is in good restored condition overall and is ready to place.
Various knocks, scuffs, marks, scratches, dents and abrasions consistent with age and use. Structurally stable. The screen has been restored - the hinges are replaced throughout and the joining green leather studded sections are later additions to strengthen and preserve the joins between panels. The reverse shows patches of repair, re-lining and strenthening and the overall painted schema has
been redone to give a consistent appearance overall. The painting to the front of the panels, again shows areas of re-touching throughout particularly over old splits and flaking where the leather has cracked or dried out previously. There is a tear to the far right panel in the middle and another to the third panel from the left.
Generally the screen is in good furnishing condition following these restorations and re-painting.
