Each piece decorated in raised gilt with interlaced double 'S' monogram reserved on an earl's coronet, comprising: three comports with biscuit porcelain putto supports, three high comports, twelve low comports, five plates
814 in. (21 cm.) high, the comports with putto supports
Provenance
Purchased by John Poyntz, 5th Earl Spencer (1835-1910) from Philips and Pearce, London, 1869, following his appointment as Lord Lieutenant of Ireland in 1868, and by descent.
