The painting has been executed on a single oak panel, bevelled to each edge. The panel is in good, stable condition. Examination in natural light suggest some thinning to the upper paint glazes, notably to the foreground. There appears to have been some minor scattered retouching to the sky, water and buildings. Examination under UV light confirms this observation. The paint is stable.
