The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

In overall very good condition.
The micro-mosaic with some build up of dirt and dust which has resulted in some loss of definition to the lighter areas. The micro-mosaic would benefit from a sympathetic clean. Some losses to the tesserae on the bottom edge and repairs and infill. Some scattered other small repairs / replacements to the edges.
The giltwood frame has been regilt and dull in tone overall. some minor knocks and losses to the acanthus-carved slip.
Overall very impressive and ready to hang.
