Rectangular with flush-fitting cover and fitted tray, decorated in gold hiramaki-e, takamaki-e and inlaid in silver with kodogu [a set of incense game utensils] including a koro and a three tiered box with floral design on a hirame ground, the reverse of the cover depicting a feather brush, the details in silver and mother-of-pearl, the interior of nashiji, fundame rims, with fitted wood box (tomobako)
