The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Each smoking set is overall in good condition, with some very minor wear in a few places.
Both drawers are a little stiff to move in and out. As to be expected there is some minor wear to the interior surfaces where the drawers have been moved in and out.
One box has a small, old chip to a corner (top left, front corner).
There is some typical slight rubbing to the gilt of the metal fittings.
Both ash containers have ash inside and associated signs of use, including surface marks to the gilt-copper liners. Both tobacco caddies also have slight wear from use to the insides.
