The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

The mosaic is in overall very good condition. The mosaic is set into a metal bezel, which is concealed by the gilt moulding of the table. Various tesserae are minorly chipped along the perimeter of the mosaic and bezel. Several tesserae are lacking from the right wing of the grey dove. Five tesserae are lacking from the right edge of mosaic in the black ground. The gilt base is structurally sound and in good condition. Expected losses and rubbing to the gilding overall.
