Circular with domed covers, shell, leaf and gadrooned borders and foliate scroll handles, engraved with coat of arms and crest on the covers and with a crest on interiors of dishes, marked on dishes, covers, handles and nuts

The arms are those of Major General (later Lieutenant General) Sir George Cooke K.C.B. (1768-1837), who was invested with the Order of the Bath on 19th October, 1815 and who commanded the 1st. Guards Division at Waterloo.
