The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.
Marks clear to rubbed but partly legible. Engraving is clear.
Some knife marks in centres consistent with age and use. The plates have been reshaped from earlier plates and the addition of gadrooned rims is evident on the undersides.

No 79 with split below the rim running inwards but not visible on the upper side.
No 6 with pin dents in centre.
No 2 excess soldering underneath the rim and possible plug hole but not visible on the upper side.
No 4 with some excess soldering underneath the rim and one solder junction very visible; dent to the rim with small corresponding crack; some deeper scatches to underside
No 1 with some pin dents in centre.
No 7 two possible small plug holes amd seam line visible on the upper side in places.
No 79 turning hole in centre refilled on the underside, not visible from the upper side.
No 8 this plate is very marginally deeper than the other .
