Not examined out of frame. The canvas is not lined. Minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges. With surface soiling and scattered fine lines of craquelure, including to the children's faces. Examined under ultraviolet light. With scattered short strokes of inpainting and craquelure fill, particularly to the lower right quadrant, the foreground by the dog and to the girl's shadow at the right side. A small repaired tear in the upper left quadrant with visible reinforcement to the reverse of the canvas.
