Overall in stable condition. With multiple flaked losses to elements of frame overall. The frame with large visible shrinkage cracks, some likely cracked repairs, stable. The roundel overall with areas of loss to the glaze at the high points, including to the youth's nose and chin, and to the blue background. A firing crack in the making underneath the youth's chin issuing a repaired crack extending approx. 6 inches to the lower center edge, with associated fill, touch-ups to the glaze and glue residue. Overall losses and repairs to the grape leaf decoration, including to several leaf tips at the top of his head, with associated fill and touch-ups to the glaze.
