Concert in the park

The condition of lots can vary widely and the nature of the lots sold means that they are unlikely to be in a perfect condition. Lots are sold in the condition they are in at the time of sale.

Canvas with wax lining. Minor frame abrasion to the extreme edges, particularly to the lower right corner. With surface soiling and overall craquelure. Scattered pinpoints of pigment loss. A small pinpoint hole and associated loss at the upper left edge. An approx. 2¹⁄₂ in .thin horizontal abrasion in the upper left quadrant. Examined under ultraviolet light. A few short strokes of inpainting, particularly to the musician figure. Please note that Christie's does not guarantee the condition of frames.
